Remigo NEO

The Remigo NEO electric outboard motor weighs just 13 kg and is equipped with a quiet, brushless 1500-watt direct drive (equivalent to 4 hp). It has an unusually slim, hydrodynamic design and is suitable as an electric outboard motor, boat motor, auxiliary motor, and calm water propulsion system for boats up to 1.5 tons. In “Boost Mode,” the RemigoOne NEO can deliver 1500 watts of power for 1 minute. “Boost Mode” can be repeated until the battery capacity reaches 40%. In continuous operation, the RemigoOne NEO delivers a maximum of 1000 watts. In combination with the option of optimally adjusting the shaft length to the transom height, highly energy-efficient propulsion can be achieved, which is optimally supported by the catamaran design of the Takacats, with up to 50% less energy consumption.

"Heavy-Duty" Transom

In contrast to the standard Transom made of round tubes, the Heavy-Duty Transom has square cross tubes made of 2mm thick stainless steel and is designed for higher continuous loads in rough weather conditions. The longitudinal round tubes are compatible with the fishing rod holders. The new HD transom is included as standard in the current scope of delivery. The 340LS (canoe) is excluded. Older Takacats from 2017 onwards can also be retrofitted with the new HD transom. In terms of load capacity, the new ‘heavy-duty’ transom has been certified for a maximum engine weight of 105 kg on the 380LX, for example, and for 30 hp/22.1 kW and 124 kg on the 420LX. i.e. the officially approved values in the CE declaration and on the type plate, with 20 hp/14.7 kW and 60 kg, include a considerable buffer. The transom construction, including the triple-rolled mounting tubes on the sides, is identical on all models (260LX to 460LX and 300S to 380S).

Fixed Transom made of Marine Aluminium

As an option, the Dingis, the LX series and the SPORT series can also be manufactured with a fixed transom made of marine aluminium. Customised products currently have a delivery time of approx. 4-6 months.

Alloy Transom Upgrade-Kit

An ‘AT upgrade kit’ is available for the Dingi 240G/280G and 240L/280L series. This allows you to replace the existing PVC/Wood transom with a new transom made of marine aluminium.

"Heavy-Duty" High Pressure Floor

The new "Heavy-Duty" high-pressure floor has, in contrast to the standard high-pressure floor, a double PVC protective layer on the upper side (2 x 1mm) and a full-surface PVC protective covering (1mm) on the underside. In combination with the all-round PVC protective covering (1mm), the HD high-pressure floor is protected against impacts on all sides, much harder in its structure and a foldable alternative to the GRP floor.

"Wave Piercer" - Speed Tube

Takacat has developed a new "Wave Piercer" speed tube that has several advantages:

• As a wave piercer, it divides the water flow between the two outside tubes, turning the Takacat into a trimaran, so to speak.
• reduces the turbulence between the hoses and reduces the ventilation at the propeller because it creates an additional keel-like flow of water to the propeller.
• lifts the boat as an additional air chamber, thus improving the planing phase, reducing water resistance and increasing the final speed.
• reduces water spray on the shaft as the boat rides higher on the water.
• improves the handling of the boat when heavily loaded due to the additional buoyancy.
• can be considered as a 4th or 6th air chamber depending on the model.

When inflated with 250mbar/3.6PSI, the "Wave Piercer" speed tube is fixed under the connecting floor to the rings of the bow fixation and to the lower transom bar at the stern.

TAKACAT-BAG - waterproof

The TAKACAT-BAG protects against rain, wetness and splashing water. Electronic devices should always be additionally secured in a waterproof sealable protective cover. The TAKACAT-BAG has a practical roll closure. After the closure bar has been rolled three times, it is simply clipped together. The clip closure then automatically creates a carrying handle. With the included carrying straps, the TAKACAT-BAG can also be carried on the back. The TAKACAT-BAG is available in light blue and grey. Dimensions when flat = approx. 57 x 39cm (length/width) - Effective volume with the closure bar rolled three times and 28cm diameter = approx. 30Litres.
